Our pets are fragile and sensitive to the products we use on them. Diatomaceous earth is a true ally because it helps reduce insect pressure in our little friends' environment.
It comes from a rock composed of fossilized micro-algae. Extracted from quarries, it is ground into powder.
The shells of microalgae are absorbent and abrasive. They absorb odors, dry out and clean without scratching.
Diatomaceous earth has no impact on the environment and does not generate resistance.

Instructions for use :
Diatomaceous earth and our pets
Sprinkle diatomaceous earth in areas likely to harbor fleas or their larvae, such as the pet bed, kennel, or bedding. Vacuum the next day. Repeat this process once a week for at least four weeks to ensure all larvae are eradicated.
Diatomaceous earth in the garden
To limit infestations of crawling insects:
On soils: Apply Diatomaceous Earth to areas where parasites pass, creating a barrier 0.5 to 2 cm wide and 2 mm high.
To reach them in hard-to-reach places, use the applicator bottle.
For use on plants, use the applicator bottle to apply the diatomaceous earth only to the desired areas. Be careful not to get it on flowers, as pollinating insects would be the first victims!
Notable effects have been observed on fleas, aphids, ticks, slugs, ants (etc).
To increase the productivity of your vegetable gardens:
Mixed into the soil, diatomaceous earth provides silica, which improves plant resistance. It reduces water stress by retaining water molecules in the soil and releasing them during periods of drought. Its drying action helps to minimize areas of standing water, thus limiting mosquito breeding.
Diatomaceous earth at home
To dry and/or reduce odors:
On floors: apply 30g per m² (3 tablespoons), covering the entire area to be treated. If necessary, leave the product to work for a few hours, then vacuum.
To reach them in hard-to-reach places (behind baseboards, between floorboards, in a ceiling), use the applicator bottle.
On carpets: apply 30g per m² (3 tablespoons), covering the entire carpet. If necessary, leave the product on for a few hours, then vacuum.
